FAQ’S In Person

Individuals who fundraise or self donate a minimum of $250 will join us at Duntroon Trails in Duntroon, ON (just 20km from Collingwood) and snowshoe the combined distance of 43.29km (or as many kilometers as you can) 

Teams whose members fundraise or self-donate a minimum of $250 per participant will be able to attend the event. We encourage corporate teams, friends and families to get together and support those living with melanoma and skin cancer. 

For every $250 the team fundraises – 1 team member qualifies to participate 

Example 1) If a team of 4 raises $1,000 all 4 members will be allowed to participate, even if one participant did not raise the $250.  

Example 2) If a team of 4 raises $750, the team can select 3 team members to attend the event. 

There is no minimum you must snowshoe however; your team goal will be to complete the distance equal to the 7 summits below: 

1. Puncak Jaya – 4.88km 

1. Vinson Massif – 4.89km 

1. Elbrus – 5.64km 

1. Kilimanjaro – 5.89km 

1. Mt KcKinley – 6.19km 

1. Aconcagua – 6.96km 

1. Everest – 8.84km 

Duntroon Trails will offer rentals on a first come first served basis. PLEASE NOTE: poles are not provided

Absolutely! This year we are introducing fat bike and cross country ski trails to take the 7 summits challenge.

Yes, each participant must raise a minimum of $250 in order to participate in the in-person 7 Summits Snowshoe Challenge.  

Help raise funds to support those living with melanoma and skin cancer and get some great rewards. 

Raise $250 – receive a neck warmer

Raise $500 – receive a pair of Columbia Sportswear socks

Raise $1000 – receive a Columbia Sportswear backpack

Rewards will be available for pick up on event day.  However, you can continue to fundraise after the event and as long as you hit the level before fundraising closes your rewards will be shipped to you. 

yes, there is a $45 registration fee that’s just $1 for every km in the 7 summits.

Youth 16 and under can register for $25, (with no minimum fundraising). * must be accompanied by an adult.
